Extra Curricular Programs |

Children's Choir/Bell Ensemble |
|
The Sacred Heart School Choir allows the children to
express their talents and be involved in a variety of activities
such as singing and bell-ringing (Bell Ensemble), among others.
The school's choir performs at all special school services
and various assemblies outside school. The choir is open to all
Sacred Heart students in grades 3 through 8. Members meet
for practice every Tuesday at 2:30.
Any student who is interested in joining may
contact the coordinator, Mrs. Delos Reyes. |

Oratory Club |
Sacred
Heart School students, from Grades 3 through 8, who have
confidence in their own oratory and speaking, skills are invited
to join the club.
The club helps students achieve better self-confidence, poise,
enunciation, memorization, and dramatic presentation. Since
2005, our students have excelled at the Martin Luther King Jr.
Oratory contest held at City Hall and Liberty Science Center
winning first, second, and third places.
Any student who is

Chess Club |
The
Chess Club welcomes all Sacred Heart school students in Grades 4
through 8. Students joining this club will be challenged
mentally and taught to think ahead; most importantly, they
develop better concentration, focusing, analytical skills,
camaraderie, and sportsmanship.
All participants attend chess tournaments yearly.
Any student who is interested in joining may

Boys' Basketball |
|
The
team is composed of energetic and dynamic young boys in
Grades 6
through 8. The club not only provides students the opportunity
to display their athletic abilities but also aims to develop sportsmanship and camaraderie among students.
Any interested students should contact Mr. Reid, the
basketball coach. |

Saturday Fun and Summer Fun |
|
The
children at Sacred Heart are blessed with wonderful, creative,
dynamic, nurturing, and supportive teachers, volunteers, and
students from Notre Dame University and Oak Knoll H.S. These
very dedicated groups have organized various programs that are
interesting, educational and fun. Activities include
Creative Writing, Poetry, Drama, Photography, Movie Making,
Sports, Arts and Crafts.
The Saturday Fun group meets every last Saturday of the
month, Summer Fun groups meet every 4th week of June.
